Giraffe Blanket

So I am obsessed with giraffes for my baby, as if you couldn’t already tell from past blog posts 😉 But there is just something about giraffes and babys that just goes so well together! So when I was shopping with my mother-in-law and we saw a cute baby giraffe quilt we both knew that Decker needed it.

So we picked out some perfect boy giraffe friendly prints to make this adorable quilt. It is an easy pattern to make and you don’t actually “quilt” it. So anyone can make it on just a regular sewing machine. It is made out of Minky so it is super soft for cuddling. So soft in fact that my 15 year old brother tried to take it home with him….and my husband thinks he might need one too…And since Decker is following his uncle’s lead as the “Blanky Boy” its perfect for cuddling up with as he gets ready for his nap.

Aren’t these prints so fun for a little boy! I got the fabric and pattern at the Fabric Mill in Orem.
